The goal of the Faith & Life Lecture Series is to create public forums
where the larger community can hear about, consider and reflect on how
faith is related to everyday life.
The lectures typically last about 50 minutes, followed by a brief period
for Q&A after the presentation by the speaker. After the Q&A, speakers
are generally available for one-on-one discussion with members of the
audience during an informal reception.
At most lectures, material by the speaker or related to the lecture
subject -- books, CDs, or artwork -- is available for sale.

The Faith & Life Lecture Series were begun in 2003 as a community
service of Mount Olivet Lutheran Church of Plymouth. In 2007, St. Philip
the Deacon Lutheran Church, also located in Plymouth, joined Mount
Olivet to present Faith & Life events.
